UPDATE: MY "NEW" RED IPHONE ... OH MY!!!

Instead of ADDING to my original post thought it would be easier to UPDATE here.

I got a call early today from Apple Supervisor regarding my "support call to Apple". He was absolutely wonderful...in fact, thank you Ms. IMac you were correct -- I have 14 days to exchange OR REFUND.

He explained to me the case itself (Tech 200 aka otter box) adds 37g of additional weight to the phone. The phone itself weighs 55 - 57 grams. I'm not great at math BUT he said that would be approx. 1/4 lb. of weight.That may not seem like alot but the SIZE of the phone (6.5" x 3.5") could be "heavy & cumbersome" to someone with "dexterity" issues (like me!)

I will be going on Monday to see what options ... perhaps going down to a "8" or changing the cover to something lighter to make it easier to handle.

thanks to everyone here!!! and of course, Thanks APPLE for great customer service (even the dumbest things I ask sometimes!) as always!!!

When it comes to "electronics" customer service, Apple cannot be beat! They will jump over hoops to make things "right."

Last year I received a free iMac because my previous "out of warranty" literally snaped off the stand from the inside.

I called "Customer Relations" to explain what happened & like you they instructed me to take my comp to my local AS for repairs. When I got there, a brand new "tricked out" iMac was waiting for me.

I know my 21.5" IMac desktop died 1 month out of warranty. I took into Apple store to be fixed (hard drive crashed) paid the $300 fee to fix it. No problem picked up on scheduled date. (our closest store is approx. 2 hour round trip on a good day😳)

I never noticed "inside fingerprints on screen" until I was setting back on my desk. Called store, spoke to Manager. She asked me to bring back...ugh another trip.....

Imagine my surprise when I checked in with concierge she directed me to Manager. She presented me with a new

IMac 27" complete with "apple air router". I told her I only had 21.5" -- she said "yours is 2 years old & technology changed so accept this upgrade as being inconvenienced"

Now that's what I call customer satisfaction!!!! 😊😊😊

My wish is they open stores closer to us...I usually do most my buying while in NJ since they have a few stores where I'm visiting (lucky them!).

I live in South Jersey. There are 3 Apple Stores near me. Not counting the one right across the bridge in Center City (Philly).

@Mz iMac. I am in Nj/NY and have 3 Apple stores within 5 miles of me. Very convenient if needed.

I'm so green!!!! (envy green that is😏).

My all time favorite is the Manhattan store. I like the Bridgewater or Menlo Park store but frequent Freehold (where I get claustrophobic - lol). The AC outlet store was always a stop on my way to Borgata while I still have $$$$ ....lol😉

I appreciate you're so knowledgeable perhaps they need you in one of those stores...you'd make a great "genius".
