We have had a tracfone for a long time, shortly after the bag phones went by the side of the road (much better phones for trucker IMHO)but hubby is no longer trucking he is retired. He has the Tracfone flip and I have the slide up phone from LG. They work great we have never had anywhere they didn't work and have had friends travel off shore and had better service than people paying tons a month for their service....

Now sometimes it seems like I am not the brightest bulb in the box but I really have a time texting when I have to use my phone because I don't have a keyboard layout I have to click each number till I reach the letter I want and I screw it up so many times. I want a keyboard phone.

But the service for tracfone is not available in our area. Does anyone know what the deal is with that? I didn't think I was asking that much, we are not as attached to our phones as some people I can get by for the most part with a thousand minutes a year or more and if I have to add 200 double min inbetween that 90 days added well I won't have to buy a year card for a long time.....but I am ready for a keyboard...

We no longer have a phone company phone at home. Which has cut over $85 month from our budget......does anyone know why the smart phones from the prepaid phones are not available in our areas when our service for the regular tracfones is so good?

Just wondering....
