The last time I asked Tracfone, they didn't have one. Now they do: Hiya. I guess anyone can download Hiya from the Google Play Store, but I got it through Tracfone via 611611. Text SPAM to 611611 and you get a link to Hiya.

Is anyone currently using Hiya? Any difficulties?

This past month I have been BARRAGED by low-rated medical supply company Breg of Carlsbad CA. I have not had any medical supplies since I broke my foot 20 years ago. Apparently they robocall claiming you owe them money. According to reviews, even people who legitimately owe them money feel they are being ripped off.

I've always blocked numbers on my tracfone.  But I'm not sure if it has to do with my phone being a Samsung or not. I would click on the "Recents", then the number,  and then in the upper right hand part of my screen click on an icon that would give me that option.

My Tracfone is attached to my google account and the google assistant. My assistant always asks if I want to prescreen unknown callers. If I don't like what the caller says, I can flag them as spammers and permanently block them. I love that feature!

Apparently I also have a built-in blocker. Why didn't Tracfone know that? Why do they now offer a link to Hiya? Why is learning about technical features so obscure?  (rhetorical questions).
