I looked at some tech websites for reviews on the Toshiba and they would probably be a 3 on a scale of 1-5, depending on which ones you are looking at. Some good points, some so good reviews. Toshiba's have the ability to change some sound things, like equalizer and other stuff I would probably not use. I have not personally heard them myself so cannot compare sound quality.

There are good and bad for Apple Air Pods too. I have them and while the sound is great there are a few cons. Not being able to control the volume easily (by tapping on the pod like some other brands) is annoying. I get about 5 hours before they die. I usually only wear one, then when it dies, swap it out with the one still in the case. Keeping the case charged up is easy so by wearing only one there really is no end to sound life. (I like having one ear open to hear my surroundings as I live alone).

Of course, if you want to use 2, the lifespan is about 5 hours then about an hour back in the charging case to get charged back up. I do wonder about long term, seeing how often they are in and out of the charging case, I wonder how long the battery will last. Batteries wear down eventually and then you would have to buy a new ones? Yhey are expensive!

The other pitfall (even with the brand new ones I believe) is that they are not water resistant. So even in the summer if you get sweaty working in the garden or doing whatever outside, or you go for a walk and it is drizzly out, they get wet and the sound starts to wonk out. I have no idea why Apple doesn't make them water resistant, as most other brands are?

I honestly cannot remember all the pitfalls of the Toshiba. One was the sound, not a lot of bass so they sound a bit tinny. Google "reviews Toshiba (enter whatever the name of the ear pods are)" and all the tech site reviewers will come up and you can read the reviews from the professionals. I trust their reviews because they give you all the pros and cons. I can't name them here but they will come up first.

There are some really nice wireless ear pods out there, but holy cow, they can go up to $300.00! That is crazy expensive.

I like the Apple pods, my biggest wish would be having the ability to control the sound from the pod and not my phone (or my computer speakers).

The other con is if I wander too far away from my phone or desk top, they disconnect and shut off and I have to go reconnect them. I feel like they should reconnect themselves when I get back in range. Little annoyances. The sound is great though, and they do not fall out if they fit you right. Some people have trouble because of how their ear is formed but I have not read many complaints of them falling out.

I honestly really like my Bose wired ones. The only reason I got wireless is that when I have them on and I am doing housework or gardening I am always getting tangled up in the wire and yanking them out.

I don't have either one, but with Apple's reputation, I have to think the Air Pods are better. I'm sure they are much more expensive, if I didn't have the money to spend on the Apple ones I probably would purchase the Toshiba ones.
