I have a Dell Desktop it is 4 years old having trouble with it freezing and

crash dumping. I am thinking about this computer my computer now has

an Intel Core 2 quad CPU Q6600 @ 240 GHz don't know alot about that stuff

it is only a 3 gig w/500 hard drive. Will this be faster?
