What is a Island key board and does the 15" have a numeric key pad on side?

According to the product description, it apparently does. Go to the item#, click on the 15" model, scroll down to "Description". and then click on the "specs".

There are pics where you can clearly see the keyboard. Additionally, you can 'zoom' on the first pic and see pretty much anything on the surface, very close up.

I'm not certain what an 'island keyboard' is, but I have an idea. I would say, based on that, it's not an island keyboard. Is that where it looks like each key very separately looks like it's coming out of the surface on its own? That's what the keyboard looks on my newest Toshiba and that is not what the keyboard looks like on this HP. I could be wrong so I hope if I am somebody corrects me. Smiley Happy
