Re: To anyone who is knowledgable about iMac computers --- a dumb question or two

@Mom2Dogs

You are all way ahead of me!  I don't have a bookmark for e-mail.  On this new computer, the e-mail I am getting is by hitting the e-mail icon at the bottom of the screen (the envelope).  To remove the e-mail, I just go to the top of the screen once the gmail is on and hit mail and quit. But it doesn't log it out.

At the present, my e-mail screen does not look like the one you posted at all.  There is no round profile icon on the right.  My e-mail screen is a sort of split screen.  The listed messages are on the left and when you just hit on a particular message without actually opening it, on the right side of the screen, the message material appears.  I know this is not right at all! As far as the keyboard goes, DH tried to use the old keyboard but it did not work at all with this new computer.

I wish I had your computer technology knowledge!  I appreciate you taking the time to post all of this and I have been trying to decipher it.  I am not sure I understand it but will keep at it.  I thank you very much!
