Time Warner or A T & T for DVR service?

We currently have TWC for our internet, phone and cable tv service. Signed a one-year contract to get free dvr service which I love, but it ends this month. DH has talked to AT&T about switching to their service. Think with them we can record more than 2 shows at a time which is all we can do now with TWC. Does anyone have AT&T for these 3 services and what do you think, especially about dvr service? Thanks for your help!
