Be very careful when you purchase this machine.  Apple discontinued this model of the iMac in March, 2022.  This one still has the Intel Chip.  The latest Mac computers have Apple-designed chips(Apple "M" Chips).  The Operating System it shows is an old, ancient system.  The computer would have to have been manufactured in 2019 or later to be able to use the latest Operating System (Sonoma v.14.1.2. 

I have no idea where and how they obtained these computers.  Buy with care.

I'd love to know.  I think "the sellers" are "Q" .  Who did "Q" get them from?  Commenters on the product page have claimed that it is a 2020 model and brand new.  IF they are brand new, where have they been sitting for the better part of 3 years?  Wonder if they'd qualify for Apple Care?

Of note, Q is also selling 24" iMacs with the M1 Chip.  These have been succeeded by the M3 Chip.  The ones they are selling have an older Operating System.  Again, where have these computers been sitting and are they new or refurbished?

This is why I buy Apple products only from the website or an Apple Retail Store, or an Apple Reseller.

Thanks for the heads up on this computer. A few hours ago in SMQ I saw them very briefly talk about this model having a big savings & wondered what was up.
