Yes, I totally agree. I'm pretty clueless as far as Internet/computer issues go and I really appreciate the people here who provide answers to my/our questions. So nice of them to take time out to help dumb ones like me. Ha!

Thanks to all!

dooB is always so much help.  She goes out of her way to help people in such a complete manner.

I have learned a ton of things from Gail over the years.  She is extremely knowledgeable and I feel like she is somebody who will figure things out if she doesn't know them yet.

Nutmeg is also extremely helpful AND polite.  She will give you links to back up what she's saying.

There are a number of knowledgeable people here who provide so much help to others.   When I got my first computer I had pretty much zero knowledge.   Not only that, but I didn't have anybody to ask, as my husband was not at all (and still isn't) knowledgeable as to electronics.

I just had to figure it all out myself and there was a fair amount of trial and error - a great deal of error!   But I like to figure things out for myself because that way I learn so much more.  If somebody just does something for me, or gives me the bottom line, I don't learn anything.  I want to know what I need to do and HOW to do it.

But it's awesome to have help as technology goes further and further along!

Hey, thanks, @cowboy sam and @chickenbutt!   I have so many posters to thank that I can't list them all here.   I've learned so much from those who are willing to take time and share advice, support, and resources, and so I try to "give back" in whatever small way that I can.

        Great thread, @cowboy sam!

Thanks chickenbutt.  Since I switched to Apple devices, I haven't kept up with Windows.  In fact, I haven't seen Windows 10 "up close and personal".  I don't post very often because I really don't know the answer anymore.

@dooBdoo, I agree with everyone here.  Thanks so much for your suggestions yesterday.  This is my first visit to the electronics forum.  Looking forward to resolving my issues w my new Mac & the Q.  Like you mentioned yesterday, I have no problems with the mobile version of Safari on my iphone & ipad air.

There is so much knowledge that has been shared here in electonics .

It's a great learning experience to be  answered in simple terms/ answers instead of mumble gumble long tech words...and  not need to go looking for what those words mean..lol!

again thanks for all those that help others that come here seeking views on products or need help looking for a answer./what to do.
