Interesting photos of the TV's of the past!!!!  Wow a pay TV from the early sixties, I never heard of this nor did I know anyone who owned one,, we learn something new daily!!!! I do remember the TV''s in the last photo but didn't own one.Thanks for the fun time through pictures!

I really loved the acqua one in the first photo. Kind of modern looking for that time.  Also, what really stood out to me was how beautifully dressed  everyone was at that time.  She had on a hat, gloves, and he had a suit and tie.  I loved that period of time.

WOW-love the pay TV!!! I do not remember that era. My mom had one similar to this one.  TV/Radio/recordplayer. But I don't remember ours being this nice!

My family never bought any appliance "until they were perfected".    That means we were the last ones on the block to get a TV...     My dad spoke German, and we did have a Grundig Majestic short wave radio.

 

We didn't get a frost-free fridge, until the handle broke off the old one...and the crow bar tore the whole door off.

 

 

These were "matters of principle"...

We weren't  broke or anything.
