TSV-Nook & Wi-Fi

I am not very tech savy so I hope someone can help me understand what I need. I was considering the TSV, but I do not have Wi-Fi, I have a desktop computer (Windows 7) and I have, not the the dial-up internet, but the other one (can't remember what it's called, duh) with verizon. If I were to get the Nook, what would I have to do in order to have Wi-Fi internet service to make the Nook work? Any EASY help would be greatly appreciated so that I may order this today! {#emotions_dlg.blushing}
