TSV HP and Problems Making Recovery Discs - Anyone else?

Hi all,

Has anyone experienced problems making recovery discs on their TSV HP. I figure that should be the most basic and effortless step before checking out all the features. I am wondering if I received a dud as after 4 hours I only have 2 out of 6 discs created. It will make a disc, verify for the longest time and/or look like it will complete the process before rejecting the DVD altogether.

I keep receiving the error message "We are experiencing errors in recovery media creation. Please try again."

I have read that the new Windows 8 software can be glitchy and given the file is larger then Windows 7 it might take longer.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem? Do you think it is a bad hard drive or just a few glitches due to Windows 8? When registering through Microsoft it failed to complete the process twice before booting up.
