When I send email on my iPad Pro I no longer get the swoosh sound. I miss it.   I've checked all the sound settings.  Any suggestions?

Aha, now I see. Not an "i" person, never owned one. With my Android tablet I have hit the volume button, not knowing it, many times, but no sound works when I do that. An easy fix.

If you have checked all the settings and they are all set to "on",  and it is just that sound, it beats me. On our HP and Samsungs, I have never heard a sound when sending mail. As long as it sends, I'm good.

There is somewhere where you turn it on and off.  I have to keep it off because when she hears it, my dog jumps up and goes into a barking frenzy.

Apple came out with a new iPad Pro.  It has a pencil and I thought it would be fun to play with.  I sometimes forget my technical ability. Lol.  Any way,  just using it the normal way, when I send an email, usually a swoosh sounds on my computer and other iPad.  This new one won't swoosh or swish.  Annoying.

Did you look under Settings and Sounds?  You can set whatever sound you want for getting mail, sending mail, etc.

@yock, follow these steps. I’m giving you the path to restore the swoosh sound. If you need me to fill,in more narrative than just the path, I will do so if you post here that you need further help. 

After going thru these steps make sure your volume is adjusted  for “Sound Effects” using the up/down buttons on the right side of your iPad. 

Settings>Sounds>Sent Mail>Classic (under Alert Tones)>Swoosh (make sure there is a check next to the Swoosh). Then leave the Settings. 

Then check volume adjusted to enable Sound Effects to be audible. Use the upper button of the two on the right side of the tablet.
