Re: Suggestions for Easy to use Flip Phone

I live in a "dead zone"...so I have a cheap flip phone from Walmart to use only in the car.    The thing is so complicated, it's a royal pain to use.

@Desertdi : Totally agree and understand. DH keeps his phone in his car and I have to tell him to bring it in to charge. 99 3/4 of the time when he is in the car: Phone is turned off and can't call him when needed. Pay $20 month for the lowest calling plan and he only makes 1 or 2 calls per month but I prefer him to have something for emergency.

I have VOIP in the house...but when the internet is down...that's a whole 'nother problem.     (I am TOO OLD to deal with this stuff.)

Re: Suggestions for Easy to use Flip Phone

I've had a Tracfone flip phone forever. I only use it to pick up groceries at curbside and for road emergency. I pay $65 a year for service. I keep the phone stored with the wifi off and in airplane mode to save it from draining the battery. I charge it about every few weeks.

@SilleeMee : Looking on the Tracfone website but having issues. Nokia and Alcatel not available in my  area. Trying to see if the Blu Flex and TCL are available in my area.

@SouthernBee

I have the Tracfone Alcatel (TCL) MyFlip-2. I got it as a reconditioned phone for $10.

Re: Suggestions for Easy to use Flip Phone

@SilleeMee : This is so frustrating. I was on the Tracfone  website doing a chat. The page kept reloading. Guy confirmed the Nokia 2760 for $19.99 has service in my area. I kept the chat open while trying to make the purchase and the page kept reloading and we were disconnected. I really hate to call because some of the people are difficult to understand.
