All phones have a microphone. It's how you are able to make a phone call.

Hi @Big Sister! I don't use that feature, but I just tested it out. You can dictate your spoken text message if you touch the microphone button near the bottom left of the keyboard. It's next to the key that says SYM. Let me know how it works!
