Re: Stange spell check issue

[ Edited ]

I think when people have a hard time understanding posts or posts that are difficult to read because of so many spelling and grammar errors, maybe people should take their time with their replies.  Why rush?

@I am still oxoxYou may not care but just keep in mind it makes you look uneducated.  Every single post always has spelling errors, sometimes grammar errors also.  I proofread because I take pride in my communication, it reflects on me.  Some spelling errors slip by but its not persistent.

@spumoni99,  IMO the key to this post is the word communication.  Some posters communicate, others just "talk".

Re: Stange spell check issue

A lot of people never took "typing" in school.    "Things Changed" when keyboards became a fact of life.

I don't care if folks make
"typos"...or misspell words...    You are not writing a thesis here.

Re: Stange spell check issue

@Travone   actually there are 4 errors not 3.  I am one who often neglects to proofread and often have to go back and edit my post.  Odd, because one of my duties at work was editing and correcting other employees' work before it was published or mailed.

And I did almost enter this post before proofreading and found 3 errors.  Oops, just found another error!

Re: Stange spell check issue

So this has become another sad thread where many posters attempt to identify and offer what they may see as helpful suggestions. Then they are met with t*t-for-tat name calling insults.

Have you ever read the board's guidelines?

I do find it dubious the assertion that the OP spellchecks everything written here. In a thread discussing spelling errors or word omissions many would see it as a natural progression to also discuss grammar. And if one can't be bothered to, on occasion, proofread for the constant numerous errors then to me spellcheck is of little significance.
