I purchased a Dell computer in early December as a Christmas Gift. Yesterday the recipient of the gift tried to log on and her password is no longer recognized by the computer. Dell has said the software is not under warranty and they can look at it for a one time fee of $129.00 since we did not purchase a software warranty (which, by the way, was never offered by QVC). I have contacted QVC and they will not help us either because I purchased the computer 6 months ago. What upsets me the most is the fact that I was never offered anytype of software warranty and now we are stuck with upwards of a $200 bill to repair the computer. If anyone out there has any suggestions, other then throwing the computer in the garbage, please let me know.
I will not be buying anymore items from QVC. The least they could've have offered was to split the cost of getting the computer up and running. Just thought I'd put this out there.
