Sending a text (using a random phone # in the "from" space)

Did you know you can send a text to someone and use an anonymous number in the "from" space? That way, you can't tell who the text came from. I got a text from an unfamiliar number. When I read it, I knew instantly it was from my soon-to-be-ex-SIL. Very weird.
