Ripoff Talk is Inaccurate

I'd be far more inclined to accept all the rants against the TSV if the posters bothered to compare equal packages. What I see is someone thinking they'se brighter than anyone who buys from QVC, but then they tell me the computer would be $500.00 cheaper elsewhere. That's just not true, not true, not true.

Maybe people who don't need to buy a warranty can buy this at the base price. I never have done that for my laptops. I want the tech service and I'm willing to pay for it. That featurre along is well over $300.00 for an Apple guarantee. Because I'm not in the market for a computer right now, I didn't bother to see what else is in the QVC package - it might still cost more than buying it elsewhere.

My point is that when someone wants to persuade me they know more than I do, they need to prove it. Inaccuracies at the base of the "ripoff post" make me think the poster doesn't really know much that I need to know - and I think she does a disservice to people who do want to buy and need accurate information. They're not getting it from her. SAD.
