Ring and Blink

In doing some research today I discovered both Ring and Blink are now owned by Amazon.

That's right.  The Ring Doorbell is the one that the Shark Tank investors didn't offer a decent deal to.  The only one who offered was O'Leary and the guys didn't like his terms, so they declined.

 

And now Amazon has bought it for one billion (yes, billion) dollars.  Smart guys to refuse Mr. Wonderful's offer!

I was just talking with a Ring rep about the fact that I couldn't download Ring on my Kindle Fire. Does this purchase mean that I can now do it?

No, it's not compatible with the Kindle operating system.
