Interesting that QVC is now selling refurbished electronics ( I sometimes do buy these but only from Amazon or Costco).  I'd never put up with the hassle of returns and shipping costs, turn around time with Q.

I've bought some things over the years from Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc. Never a problem.

I like Ollie's stores for books, refurbished small kitchen appliances, and then more books on the way out.

Why would anyone buy used electronics?

Look like new, work like new, warranted like new.

MUCH CHEAPER!

A salesman once told me that they are actually better because you know it has been thoroughly tested!

Yes. I've bought them on occasion and never had an issue. Refurbished is safer than "Open box" stuff as refurbs have typically been thoroughly tested while "Open box" stuff tends to just get a minimal look (if that) and then sold.

I have bought a vacuum and carpet cleaner refurished from Amazon about 12 or more years go an they both are still going strong.  They both cost less than half of what they cost brand new.
