Question for fellow movie buffs/fanatics

Hi all,

So I'm thinking of selling some of my old VHS tapes as I don't have a way of viewing them anymore anyway since DVRs have taken over the electronic sceneSmiley Happy

Do you transfer your movies over to DVR (is there a way to do this?) or simply repurchase your favorite DVDs and start rebuilding your collection all over again?

I wasn't sure if there was a service that could do the transfer OR there was a way to do it myself? If I am able to do it myself -- do I need any additional equipment?
