i have an old phone that died awhile back ,  and  I didnt back up my photos in the cloud . I just wondered if any of you techies would know if the picture keeper could retrieve my photos perhaps ?🤔

It all depends on why the phone failed.  If the hard drive or SS card is the problem, your photos are gone.  If it's the power supply, there are ways to retrieve the data if you, or a tech professional, can access the data.  I had an iMac's regular hard drive fail and the cost to retrieve the data was outrageous.  You'll need a professional to determine why the phone failed.

@gadgetgal613 @I brought it to one of those places in my area.  I have no idea  o how  knowledgeable he was but he said nothing could be done .

Sounds like the storage area of the phone or SS drive has failed.  I'm sorry this happened but, this is a reminder to everyone, never have only one copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

Where were the photos being saved on that phone? If it was to a micro SD card then they should actually be on the card and not the phone and retrievable from that. You just need to take the card out.

Re: Question about picture keeper & old phone

The Picture Keeper Connect works with an app to run the backup. You would need to be able to use the phone to retrieve the photos.

We hope you have luck with some of the other suggested comments!

Picture Keeper is a great solution for preventing the loss of your precious photos and videos. Unfortunately, we all know someone who has had this happen to them.
