I purchased this when it was the TSV.

I am finding I cannot block calls at the handset.  Any ideas?

My question today is can you restore a blocked number?  My daughter has been doing this and she has made a couple of mistakes blocking numbers I want to get through!

Thanks.

The answer to your question is in the user manual.

Re: Question about call blocker

I heard them say that to block from the handset you press #2.

I have not set mine up yet, so I can't vouch for that working, but I did hear it Smiley Happy

On my own phone, which has a limited number of blocks, I can scroll through and unblock. I blocked my Drs office by accident and unblocked it.

I imagine the same block/unblock option is on the call block?

@hyacinth003

Not sure what item you bought. I have a 4 handset AT&T phone and it blocks 1,000 numbers. It also allows you to review the blocked numbers, and remove them from the blocked directory. It also lets you block calls from the base or any of the 4 handsets.

If it is a phone set, it should have a menu that allows you to choose the "settings" you wish to use. My set, I believe says, "feature ON/OFF".

Re: Question about call blocker

@hyacinth003  If you go to the item #E231630 and scroll down to description you will see User Guide, click on it and it will answer your questions.  Yes, you can restore a deleted number(scroll to the number blocked in error and press the delete button.)  Also if you have the right type of phone you can block a call using #2 from the handset.

Hope that helps

Neither of my phones will take the #2 command on the handset.  I either have to block at the device itself or on the device itself.

I tried the instruction in the manual but it didn't work.  I will try what you suggested with the delete button.  Thanks!

Re: Question about call blocker

You first have to answer the call and then you can #2 to block.

To unblock any particular phone number:

- press BLOCK LIST button then scroll down (use up/down arrows buttons) until you see the number you wish to unblock then

- press DELETE button to remove that number from your block list

To block a caller from your handset while it's ringing then you must answer the call first then press #2 to block it.  Check the CallBlocker device to make sure that caller was indeed blocked by pressing the BLOCK LIST button and see if it was added to your list.

After you are done pressing buttons then your CallBlocker device will return to it's normal state showing your block list count on the display. No need to press any buttons to reset it...it's automatic.

Re: Question about call blocker

Got to say, this machine is fab.  Comes preloaded with 5,000 of the worst offenders already programmed in.  While we are still receiving some pesky calls, the number has dropped significantly just plugging this in!  It's really a miracle for quieter evenings and weekends.
