Let me begin by saying that I am technology challenged. I use my computer and my cell phone etc but I don't know a hole lot about this stuff. So don't laugh if this sounds silly. I'm seriously considering getting a Kindle or a Nook. Some of my friends a Kindle fans, some Nook fans. Here's what I want to know because I am also thinking of buying one for my sister who does not have a computer. Do you recharge these readers like a cell phone? Can you download books from the reader or do you need a computer to download books? Is it user friendly enough for those of us who would still be using fountain pens and adding machines if we had choice? Thanks in advance for your help, and okay, you can laugh if you want to...LOL
