Question about COREL Paint Shop Photo Pro X3

This is not exactly 'electronics' but it's software that I have to use on my computer so that's close enough I hope. If anymore has the above mentioned software, can you please tell me how to 'get color on my paint brush' so I can put red noses on subjects? I've gone to the palette but I am getting no where and the 'help' doesn't help me much. Only if you've got this software would you be able to instruct me I guess....needle in a haystack I bet.
