Question about Amazon Prime

So, I finally bit the bullet and signed up for Amazon Prime. My question is about the Kindle lending - I don't have a Kindle (I have an iPad and iPhone) so it seems I can't utilize that part of the membership. I thought I could since there is a Kindle app for the iPhone.

Is there anyway to borrow a Kindle book for free via the Prime Membership without a Kindle? If not, going to send them a suggestion. I was hoping I could do so via the website but I don't see a way to do that.
