Hi,
I'm technologically disadvantaged.
I inherited an older model Epson b/w printer and need a converter cable that looks like this:

Best Buy has it for $30 which I thought was a bit much, but searching on-line I see they are on Amazon for $8-$12.
Here are my questions:
1) Is it okay to buy this on-line?
2) Does the "brand" matter?
3) Doesn't it have to be compatible with Windows 7? How do I know if it is?
TIA!
