I have an Amazon Prime membership. I have never watched any videos or downloaded music from them. I enjoyed the second season of Fargo and was thinking of watching the first. It is no longer available on demand with TWC. Looking at the episodes there are prices next to them. I'm not paying money to watch the episodes. Maybe someone can help me.

I believe only some shows are free. The ones with prices are not.

Hi @Jordan2 - With Amazon Prime, there are lots of free shows/movies but also many that you need to pay for (either per episode or per season) if you want to view it. I dislike that about it; one week something will be free to view, the next month they'll charge for the same show - just depends on popularity I guess.

Jordan,
When I go to the movies & TV section, I always click "Prime" on the left. I'm like you -- if I've already paid for Prime, then I certainly don't want to pay to watch programming. Last month, I "discovered" Downton Abbey and loved it. AMZN has a lot of good freebies for Prime members. You just have to "hunt" for them. It's definitely worth the search. I've never been disappointed.
Good luck!
Edit:
Oh! One shortcut -- in the search bar, type in the name of the "star" you'd like to see.
For example, you can type "Bette Davis", then click "Prime Video", and the freebies will say "Watch Now".

Thanks for the reply. What's the sense of paying $99 for Prime if I have to pay for video content? I don't think I buy enough to warrant the free shipping perk. Maybe I would be better off subscribing to Hulu or Netflix?

I suppose it depends on your shopping habits. I shop on AMZN almost every week, so the $99 is worth it.

I think it's time for me to ask a question I have been wondering about for some time. I am a nerd when it comes to electronics.
I am a Prime member. I may be interested in viewing movies or episodes using Amazon. Do I download them to my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 and then watch them on the tablet? I don't want to see them on my TV, that's another "I don't know how to make that happen."
TIA

Not sure what kind of help you are looking for. I've watched several "FREE" movies on amazon streaming, even several that are 4k resolution. I look at movies and if they don't say: "0.00"? I move on.
I use Netflix instead of paying "per movie or per episode" and I thing being amazon prime is worth every penny for us.

The only way to watch them on your Kindle, iPad, iPhone or TV is with the Amazon app. Go to the Kindle app store and download it. I watch a lot of free TV shows (The Good Wife) I didn't watch in real time and movies. You won't find new movies for free.

I luv Amazon Prime. It is nice to receive my orders in two days. I play Prime Music, and use my Echo box.
I use Hulu. I enjoy watching TV shows, and it has past seasons of many programs. Each service, Hulu, and Netflix gives a customers a one month trial. Try them both and then decide which one you like.
