Found out the purchase date is NOT an issue if you purchased a PC with "unlimited Premier PC Support." Fine print in Premier's brochure says you must register within 30-days or no service, as was stated in previous posts on this page. But also included in my software package was a separate sheet which included a User ID and a Password for Premier. (This was on a sheet which also listed serial numbers for some of the software.) I purchased my PC in December and did not go to Premier's URL until today, 2/13/13. This User ID and Password immediately connected me to a chat window, where a rep named Thomas spent almost two hours with me, helping me load software and answering my questions about Windows 8. I was never asked about a purchase date. Bottom line: don't worry about the 30-day limitation if you know you have purchased unlimited support. Thank you QVC and Premier.
