Problems using ipad photos as wallpaper

When I add photos as wallpaper, they seem to zoom very large so I get only a small piece of the photo as wallpaper. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? TIA. LM

Hi gidget!!! I did some quick reading. It appears to be an issue caused in the IOS software update affecting many users. Didn't find a solution though. Maybe one of our smart techies knows the answer. Here's hoping!

There are some free apps for resizing the pictures..I did a search in the app store..I don't have my ipad with me right now but I did find a couple free ones that work pretty well..DW

I read that Microsoft, who makes PCs, will not properly download any MAC photos, being an Apple product . . . I assume on purpose. So if you're using a PC product, it's not going to happen.

What's a Mac photo? As long as it's a JPEG, either operating system can view it.

This problem makes me crazy. Luckily there are a ton of apps out there that will re-size your photo. I use Wallpaper Fix, and it works great.

The frustrating thing is that the same pictures displayed fine before I upgraded. I figure $.99 is a small price to pay to keep my sanity!

William Joseph, thanks for the link. I did google and found the same article. I can pay .99 for the app no problem. I do, however, think that since Apple created the problem, they should fix it. At the price of their devices, I think that is the least they should do. I must be stubborn. I'm not going to buy the app. LM
