There is no way I'd wait a month for a computer. I'd cancel it and go shopping elsewhere.

There are hundreds of threads on here about the delay in receiving electronics and specically Dells.
Dells are built to order. They are not sitting on the UPS truck on TSV day waiting for a label.
Dells also come directly from Dell, not QVC's warehouse. QVC's Customer Service (and your online) information comes from Dell periodically. It is not updated on an immediate basis, so QVC customer service can only see what you see.
Once it is built and shipped, it will get updated.
I have ordered 2 Dells over the years from QVC as TSVs and they do take a long time to arrive. You will sometimes get the software box and periferal stuff separately from the computer.
They sometimes talk about this on air, but these presentations are very long, so unless you listen to the entire thing, you may miss that part.
Hang in there.

It is too late to cancel this order. The only thing this customer can do is buy somewhere else and return the computer when it arrives.

Same here. My EDD got pushed back to 2/27 and after speaking to a customer rep she explained that DELL builds to order. I'm not impressed and regret ordering it. Funny thing is if you click on the product it shows that it's in stock. It doesn't appear that it sold very well. Oh well, I hope it's worth the wait.

After three calls... over a week... now they are saying that I can expect my computer March 8th or so? Customer service said that they didn't expect to sell as many as they did and Dell could not keep up with sales. I totally expected to wait a bit when I purchased the TSV however not almost two months

I would return this computer to QVC, and get a refund. Two months is too long to wait. There have been new products introduced to the market since you brought this one.

In the late 90's we ordered a Dell PC, and it was a piece of qwap. But it came quick as anything else. LOL. We had bought 2 HP's from QVC prior to that, and they were wonderful. But many people have had excellent luck with the Dell. I have heard in the last 5 or 6 years things have turned around at Dell, and they just aren't as big as they used to be. I have had customers relate that it does take a while to get a Dell (certain models) whether you order from QVC, or directly from the company. They build to order. It is not good for the customer, but it works for Dell. This way they have no unsold products in inventory and it saves money.
Posters on this board have said they either waited the time allotted, or they sent the computer back, unopened, upon arrival. You can refuse the package, and it will not cost you anything. Do not open package, send it back when UPS delivers it, or catch them later. That way they will track the return for you! QVC should not charge you any restock fees if you have waitied over the agreed time. If they told you 10 days, and it havs been over a month, that is the Q's problem

Rockcity - the ship date on my order was March 7th - but I received it last week.
By now I'm assuming you have yours.
I absolutely love this computer and its soooo pretty (lavender).
The customer tech service is excellent. I immediately upgraded to Windows 8.1 through their on-line tech service. It took about 3 hours to upload.
I've called tech several times for various questions I had. These guys are smart and they are from Florida - not India. If you use their on-line remote the wait isn't very long. Much longer if you try to contact them by phone.
