Glad I read this. I installed the upgrade yesterday, and this morning I also found my BlueTooth in the "on" position. What does BlueTooth do (in painfully simple language, please!)?

I have an iPhone 5.....installed my update!! I usually get a message from Apple when there is an upgrade ready to be downloaded, but I didn't get that message this time.....I checked after hearing this on the news.

Bluetooth connects two devices together, wirelessly. Wireless headphones and speakers, for example, can connect to your phone or pad wirelessly. Then you would hear the music from your phone or pad on those devices. When you have two devices that are both Bluetooth enabled, you turn on Bluetooth on both, and they automatically find each other and connect. No wires are needed. Also, cars that now have the feature to work with your phone is another example of using Bluetooth. You connect your phone or pad to the car electronic system through Bluetooth.

I got a message late yesterday evening from Apple for a security update for the ios7. It took quite a while to download. Is this what you're talking about?

I thought that Apple products needed no security as there was no security risk with them. That just may have changed my mind about getting any of them.
