Pandigital Photo Scanner

I have a Pandigital Photo Scanner that uses an SD memory card to store the scanned images.

Every time I scan pictures or documents and then go to download them to my computer, the date is always the same....a day back in 2009.

What I need to know so I can fine tune my searching for answers is - how do I find out if the date that always shows is on the SD card or on the scanner?

I did some troubleshooting with the scanner software and have found nothing.
