Pandigital 9" multi ereader

The special all month on the 9" ereader had me curious. Checked Pandigital and the Android o.s. that's being used on this model is an Android 1.6 through a 2.0. If you buy one you could end up with an out of date o.s.. Did more research and at all of those BedBB places are selling the same thing for 219.00 with a 20.00 rebate plus if you have one of their coupons at another 20% your down to 160.00. Thought you'd like to know.
