RE: The 52" Sharp TV that went kaput. After a lot of research, I found out that there is some kind of fuse in the electrical cord for this TV. Of course it is all enclosed. We decided to get a new TV and try and find someone who might know how to fix the other one. We really don't want to put a lot of money in the 3 year old one, so will see what transpires. Will keep you posted as to the final results of this TV.
