PLEASE HELP - trying to download apps on Panimage Media Tablet

I received my tablet yesterday and I think I have everything figured out EXCEPT I cannot download any of the apps in the App Market. I click on an app, it says it is loading but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? I would appreciate any help - it is very frustrating.
