Outdoor smart timers

[ Edited ]

Wasn't sure where to put this...Holiday?  Home?  Here?

What are you using for your outdoor lights?  I bought amaros a couple of years ago and it quit working.  I probably used it for three weeks twice.

If you have a timer you really like, please give your feedback.  Where to purchase?  Thanks in advance.

We use Kasa outdoor smart plugs.  The photo I will post is a double, but you can get a single.  It can be set to run on a schedule, controlled manually from the app, or controlled from a smart home device.  If you're only interested in the scheduling aspect, it runs flawlessly from the scheduling section of the app, and the app is super easy to use.

@judianne @Ainhisg , thank you!  I will order.

PS, did you order double socket or single?  I worry about water getting in the unused socket.

I ordered a double as that is what we needed.  There is a cover that goes over the unused socket if you find you don't need it.  If you look at the photos, the smart plug hangs down from the outlet, which gives it further protection.  Our ourdoor outlet is horizontal but under a covered patio, so I have a little table it sits on so as not to stress the cord.
