Ooma

Who uses Ooma & how do you like it? Any tips? From what I have read you can use your own phone without buying the Ooma phone. I saw on Amazon it does not have good reviews? They have the Ooma box for $99 on Groupon. I thought about buying it & cancelling my local phone service. I already use Gmail phone to make free long distance calls. Are the phone calls clear? I guess I would also have to buy the wireless adapter so I would not have to leave the box next to my wireless interent equipment.
