Wonder if the TSV is easier to install than the HP7520? I am ready to throw this printer out the window. Wireless is a nice idea but at this rate (3 hours into installing the printer) I am wondering if I should donate my current printer and get this one?

I bought a highly rated Canon all in one printer this week from a very reputable electronics website on advice from a computer geek friend. $49.99 plus tax and free overnight shipping.
Cheap replacement ink available, too. My previous computer was purchased from HSN over 7 years ago. Served me well (Lexmark), but the ink cost a fortune.

Do tell? What model and where?

Pretty good price but QVC charges me state tax and that runs it up higher than I can buy it elsewhere.
I actually pretty much stick with Canon. I bought my present on on Black Friday way over a year ago. It came with 5 individual ink tanks, which is the only way I will buy a printer, and a package with different types of Canon Paper also.
I paid a total of $69 delivered to my door. Now this one is also a Fax Machine(4 in 1)and I have used it many times. Easy on ink and I bought 10 replacement tanks for $34 and with me printing mostly in "ink saving mode", that will last me for years.
Even though I am an electronic person, I am not into one device that sends e-mail and prints form smart phones and all of those things. Sure they might be nice for those that will use them, but I have no use for all those features I will never use.
This Envy printer I see uses 2 ink cartridges so if 1 color runs out? Ya gotta buy the whole 3 color cartridge. Take my word for it from years of experience that 1 color runs out long before some of the others, in my case 4 others. What color runs out first depends on what type of printing a person is doing. As I said $34 for 10 ink tanks? That is 2 total ink replacements and to me I don't see any printer doing any better than that price and the quality of the prints is fantastic for what few photo's I occasionally print.

How much does an individual printer cost? How much for a stand alone scanner? Etc. they are probably combining the prices of several individual items to come up with the retail value of this one item. (Keep in mind, I didn't watch a presentation, but that just sounds like something somebody in sales would do.)$432.00? Really? That is very high. Search Goggle & you'll find prices much lower. This is a very inflated retail price QVC is quoting.
I have one I bought for less than $100 last year.

Excellent printer. i have the previous version 5530. It does everything. i can print from phone and tablet to it. download the HP eprint app. you can do alot more with it like kind of paper, orientation, size of picture, various other settings. without it you can only print a 4x6

careful careful...they make the money in the INK. I love my HP jet printer but it is good on ink, some aren't.

I don't believe that retail price either. They sell the printers for practically nothing. They make their profit on the ink cartridges.
That's why I wish I could afford a laser printer (which is what I always had at work). Besides quality of print, the laser cartridges are far less expensive when compared to the price of the printer and they last a long time.
I can't justify the cost of a laser printer in my present life . . . too bad.

That's a good point. When I first bought my HP printer, the ink was about $15. Now it's about $25. Seems like the ink gets more expensive as a printer ages.
