I bought 4 of the HP black friday laptops for my kids ... yesterday my daughter informed me that her laptop has no sound and never did. It states there is no audio output device installed...We discovered this so late because she has been very sick and she just didn't get into the computer much...She needed a hysterectomy and hernia repaired, on top of working more than 60 hours a week as an assistant manager at a fast food chain.
Yesterday, she spent more than 6 hours on the phone with premier support and hp techs trying to solve the issue. I'm so very disappointed
I went out of my way to give my kids and grandson a really great Christmas! We are living on a pension..
Christine Kane promises me the problem will be solved on Monday...DD and I both have doctor appointments tomorrow... I have celiac disease and she needs a surgical followup.
I ordered the last hp tsv Jan 13th.That one was for me..my old one died during the holidays... Mine will only play qvc livefeed and watch their videos in desktop mode. My son's keeps saying IE is not responding and when he tries to make comments on youtube, they disappear halfway through the process. Only 2 of the 5 laptops I purchased seem to be working perfectly. I don't know what to think..
Is anyone else having major problems with any of their new laptops? Is it an hp thing? or the new windows 8 or what? My 14 year old grandson is loving windows 8. He seems to have figured just about everything out. He is still young enough his brain absorbs things like a sponge.
I wish..lol...this stuff is difficult for me.
Any thoughts on what I should do? I Christmas shopped like I did because I was having a major celiac problem during the holiday season...I just didn't feel well enought to hit the malls...still don't feel too great.
