As anyone who uses Chrome for iPad knows, there was a recent update that completely changed almost everything about Bookmarks. Previously, you could rearrange the order of your bookmarks by dragging and dropping. That no longer works and I can't find anything about it online. There no longer seems to be a way to move a bookmark from the bottom of the list to the top and rearrange them. Can't "click on" drop-down menus like the Windows version.

Anyone else using Chrome for iPad? Clearly very different from Chrome for Windows. Waah :-(

what is the advantage of chrome over safari?  you can move your bookmarks around in safari.

        Aw, I'm sorry you're having problems with this browser, @Moonchilde.  I remember your comments in the past about finding it to be better for your uses.   I've never tried using it since I like Safari, but I see the App Store ratings and comments aren't favorable... maybe it's a temporary glitch, since it's a new release?  (Fingers crossed!)

It's just a matter of preference. I have tried Safari more than once and I just don't like using it. No different than having a preference for Firefox over IE/Edge.

Thanks @dooBdoo.  I'll survive, but it's just an annoyance. I will have to cut down on bookmarks I will never use. I do that every six months or so anyway. Just thought someone might know if there is a way to rearrange, or alternatively to say they know it's no longer possible and that's that. There were lots of articles about changes when it happened, about 2-1/2 weeks ago, but I didn't read them all :-( and now I can't find anything. Sigh 😁

I have a chromebook so , of course, I have chrome and I can move my bookmarks around.

And I could on a PC as well. There are always issues in iOS because Apple does not want Chrome to work smoothly on Apple devices and is constantly mucking things up for any Google apps. It's just the way it is. But I have no desire to purchase a Chromebook.
