It took several hours to do all my Windows 11 updates today. No problems with any of them. It included Windows 11 22H2.

Just wanted to post this as I wasn't sure how it would go but was pleased at the outcome.

I have a newer HP 15" Laptop that came with Windows 11 on it.

My son just updated his Windows 10 laptop to Windows 11 and had no problem. It will take several hours so leave it plugged in when doing this. It will restart a few times within the update installing so just leave it on to do what it needs.
I like Windows 11. Hit enter when it comes up and you will have to sign in on it. I have a 4 digit PIN number on mine and then just Hit Enter.

Add your WiFi next. I use Chrome so I disabled Edge in the settings and added Chrome as my selected browser. You may have to download Chrome.

What you need to do on it is to go under Updates and if any are there do them first. There may not be any. I took off some of the Apps under Start as they will all run in the background at start-up and will slow your computer down when starting.

You also can bring your laptop to a computer shop and they will do the update and shut off any apps that do not need to run in the background. I know my way around the computer so I was fine for me but rather than frustrate yourself it is worth the money to do this.

If your computer is real old and you want to just buy a new computer all you have to turn it on after you charge it. I always have my computer plugged in when doing updates or setting it up.

Hope this helps.

Since your computer is offering you to download Windows 11 it will save you money rather than buy a new one.
