I won't be upgrading to the series 10. I currently have series 8 cellular model and it's still going strong. I have Verizon and pay extra 10/month which is absolutely worth it for me.

From what I gather the series 10 have sleep apnea detection (series 8 doesn't), case/screen size is 1 mm larger (so 41 to 42 or 45 to 46), and faster battery charging (the battery does not last longer as reported here). Mine takes less than 30 minutes to charge full so the faster charging is not an upsell for me at all.

The series 10 does not have oxgen sensor in the U.S.

What I find interesting is for some reason although the cellular model was 100 more than the noncellular model, the trade-in value for the cellular model is the same or even less than the noncellular model.

My Apple Watch 10 came yesterday. I am still amazed that Apple does not provide the 'plug' for new devices. They supply the charger but no plug. I have a similar type for my iPhone 15 and iPad but they are used daily so I need a separate one for the new watch. I think this is very inconvenient and would rather have it included at a higher price than not.

I know Apple is famous for its add on expenses but I think this is ridiculous.

@Biftu We have ordered online from Apple for many years and it is great! The product comes quickly. We ordered a desktop and by the time it got here we decided we needed more oomph--no problem to ship it back and get an upgrade!

If you trade in, they send you the container to ship back the old one! We have never had a problem with on line. And we have an Apple store not far, but on line is easier!

@Sooner You were right. The watch arrived yesterday and the whole process went smoothly. Glad I listened to you and didn't make the drive to the mall. Thanks.

@Biftu I am so happy you had a good experience and I hope you love your watch! We have excellent luck with online Apple. Just last week had to get a broken phone replaced and it was smooth sailing and quick. They sent the box to mail back the broke one.
