Is anyone going to buy the new Apple Watch?  Pretty sure I will. My watch is #4 and it is time.  I was waiting for this one as they improved battery life and have made other changes.  I held off on #9.

@Lilysmom1    I buy one every year.  Iwould suggest waiting because they run great sales on Black Friday.  That is the best time to buy any Apple product.

@BalletBabe  Since you buy one every year maybe you can answer my questions.  Have you ever bought your watches on line at the Apple Store?  Since the one I buy will be a gift, are they returnable?  Do you have the cellular version?  If so, what is the monthly cost?

I keep going back and forth. I have an 8 so I'm not sure an upgrade is warranted. I'll do some more thinking and research to see if I should get one.

UPDATE**** I decided to get the rose gold with the Milanese strap. I got a $135 trade in on my old one so that made the price better. I like some of the new features.

@Meowingkitty  Did you pre-order the watch on line at the Apple Store?  I read they will be available on September 20th.

I have a series 6 watch and I'm surprised at how much I use it.  I always have it with me when I go shopping or out by myself.  I don't have cellular service on the watch, but my husband does and he really likes it.   I used the watch to monitor my pulse rate and Oxygen saturation when I was having problems and needed to check these often.

I bought several really nice covers for the watch to dress it up and protect it (from ShopHQ & designed by Victoria Wick).  I also have several dressier bands in leather and other materials.  I mention this because they were somewhat expensive and I want to use them some more.

I will check out the new series, but not sure that I will change right now.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

Yes I did. I'm having it delivered because frankly even though I can make an appointment I'm just not in the mood to go stand in line at the Apple and deal with it.

I am buying one as a gift. While I would like to see it in person, I'm thinking of ordering through the Apple Store on line as the closest Apple Store is not that close.  I've done my homework and hope I choose the right one. I'm going to order the one with GPS + cellular since he never remembers to take his cell phone with him.  I realize it will be an additional monthly cost, but in this case I think it will be worth it.

Has anyone ordered on line?  Do you know if it is exchangeable since it is a gift?  Does anyone have the cellular version?

@Biftu We have ordered online from Apple for many years and it is great!  The product comes quickly.  We ordered a desktop and by the time it got here we decided we needed more oomph--no problem to ship it back and get an upgrade!

If you trade in, they send you the container to ship back the old one!  We have never had a problem with on line.  And we have an Apple store not far, but on line is easier!

@Sooner  Thanks. Your response makes me feel comfortable.  I'm going to do that.

@Biftu   I always buy from the Apple store.  (Online)  I also have the Apple credit card so they giveme some moneyback.  They have classes and tech support also for free. I have never bought the Cellular version because I thought paying for that wasn't worth it to me.  As far as returns , I don't know, but you can call them at 1-800-Apple.  They are very helpful.

The monthly plans cost 10.00 a month, but that depends on your carrier.  You can call your carrier and ask them that.  You also pay more for the watch with the Cellular.

I hope this helps.   :0)

@Biftu , it is a lovely gift.  I use mine for many things.  I can ping my phone if I forget where I put it.  Kitchen timers are a thing of the past.  You can run several at the same time.  I have the stock exchange, weather, date, time on the watch face.  I use ring door bell, exercise data, listen to the radio (via wifi), listen to my music while I walk.  I would be lost without it.

I do not have GPS.  It wasn't worth the extra expense to me.  I can answer my iPhone on the watch while on wifi which is very convenient.

I am trading in my current one so I will buy from the Apple Store.

I wanted a new one but I waited for 10 because this was the big makeover.  Longer battery life (which is already good) and other new features.
