I read this on a pc tech website. To speed up your netbook without adding more ram, get a 4 gig sd flash memory card class 6 or higher. Put it in the card reader slot of your netbook. Go into your settings and click turbo boost. Don't use the card for storage and save on it. The pc will use it like extra memory and it will boost the netbook performance. You just need to check your netbook specs to see what kind of card it uses. Mine and my daughters netbooks both use SD and SDHC seems to be the new thing so finding the SD with those specs wasnt ez. I did find that you can buy the SDHC card with the SD adapter and use it. I bought my card with included adapter from amazon. I would up my ram but my netbook is Acer and the keyboard must be removed to add ram. My daughters netbook is HP and all you do is pop out the battery, press the two white clips in the battery compartment and the back of her HP pops off. No screws. The memory is right there and ez to change. I dont know why Acer made theirs nearly impossible to change unless a professional does it and they charge a good bit due to all that must be removed to get to the memory.
