Thanks for the info, chickenbutt. Unfortunately, this was when I was very much a novice and just thought that if I had the floppy disks, I would be OK. Ufortunately, the computer with the floppy disk drive crashed and by that time computers had made advancements and did not use floppy drives any longer.

Lynnj: I think I will call the local library tomorrow and find out if they have a computer with a floppy drive or an external floppy drive. There is one floppy disk that I want to see what is on for sure, but we have several others. I do like your idea of how to do it. That way I can see right there is it has transferred and if it didn't try something else.
