NEED SOME ADVICE WITH COMPUTER BACK-UP

I have an iMac. I'm currently subscribed to Mac's "MobileMe" service which includes back-up to their facility. It also includes e-mail which I already have available at no charge. I pay $99/year for the MobileMe service and it's an expense I'd like to ditch.

What has been the experience of Mac users with "Click-Free"? Are there any other similar devices you all use for back-up?

Please advise. Thanx!!
