Hello... it is about 4 years old now, I have no problem with getting updates... it updates and installs this morning in fact. It  works fine only black screen if want to take it to another room and use it plugless.Woman Frustrated

 

That's good that it updates. A new battery would cost less than a new laptop, by far. @apple1964

Yep... I checked that out. But, this is my daughters computer that she does her school work on so I might have to get her a new one real soon. TYVM.
